1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using KOJ Learn (learn.kojstudios.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. KOJ Learn is operated by KOJ Studios and provides an online learning platform for creative professionals. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Platform Description
KOJ Learn is a creative education platform offering: online courses (text-based, video-based, and mixed format), live sessions with tutors, a digital marketplace for creative assets (LUTs, presets, templates, guides, and more), AI-powered tools including KOJ Mentor (James) powered by Google Gemini, and an AI Prompt Generator powered by Google Gemini. The platform also uses Groq and other AI services for specific features. Community tools including discussions, leaderboards, and badges are also available.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Payments & Pricing
All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦). Current platform fees: Lifetime Access — ₦50,000 (one-time, all free courses forever). Certificate Unlock — ₦3,000 per certificate. Exam Retake — ₦1,500 per retake. Extra Certificate Downloads — ₦2,000 per 3 downloads. Paid courses vary between ₦5,000 and ₦50,000. Marketplace products are priced by individual sellers. Payments are processed via Paystack. KOJ Learn takes a 20% platform fee on tutor course sales and marketplace transactions. Tutors and sellers receive 80% of their earnings.
5. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds once course access, certificate access, or marketplace product access has been granted. If you experience a genuine technical issue preventing access to paid content, contact us via our feedback page within 48 hours of purchase. Live session registration fees are non-refundable once the session has started. Wallet funds added to your KOJ Learn wallet are non-refundable but can be used for any platform purchase.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, platform design, branding, and materials created by KOJ Studios remain our intellectual property. Tutors retain ownership of their course content but grant KOJ Learn a licence to host and deliver it. Marketplace sellers retain ownership of their digital products. Students receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access purchased content. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell any content from the platform without explicit written permission.
7. Tutor & Seller Terms
Tutors must be approved by the KOJ Learn team before publishing courses. All courses are subject to review and may be removed for quality or policy violations. Marketplace sellers are responsible for ensuring their products do not infringe third-party intellectual property. Earnings are paid out subject to a minimum withdrawal threshold. KOJ Learn reserves the right to withhold earnings in cases of fraud or policy violations.
8. AI Tools & Services
KOJ Learn uses AI services including Google Gemini for the KOJ Mentor (AI tutor named James), the AI Prompt Generator, and AI-assisted course creation tools. AI-generated content is provided for educational guidance only and should not be treated as professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated responses. Usage of AI tools is subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq).
9. Certificates
Certificates issued by KOJ Learn are digital recognition of course completion. Certificates include a unique verification code accessible at learn.kojstudios.com/verify. KOJ Learn certificates are not government-accredited qualifications. Certificate designs include KOJ Learn branding and may include a watermark on preview versions.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: share account credentials, resell or redistribute paid content, attempt to circumvent payment systems, upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content to the marketplace, harass other users in community features, use automated tools to scrape or copy platform content, or misrepresent your identity or qualifications as a tutor or seller.
11. Limitation of Liability
KOJ Learn is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted access, accuracy of content, or fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for loss of data, business interruption, or indirect damages.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.
